"Boston Strangler," the long-awaited feature film by 20th Century Studios, will premiere on Hulu on March 17. How fitting that a movie based on true events that took place in Boston, MA, in the 1960's will drop on St. Patrick's Day! Based on the infamous Boston Strangler murders, this is the true story of Loretta McLaughlin (played by Keira Knightley), the first reporter to connect the murders and break the story of the Strangler. She and fellow reporter Jean Cole (Carrie Coon) challenged the sexism of the early 1960s to report on the city's most notorious serial killer and worked tirelessly to keep women informed. Pam had the privilege of playing opposite Keira Knightley as Anne Samans, mother of the 10th victim, 23-year-old Beverly Samans.
