Today marks one month since wrapping on the short film, “Blood Brothers.” This was a very special project for several reasons. The young man who wrote, directed, produced it chose sobriety over 6 years ago. He and I met in April 2015 on the set of my first student film where we played mother and son, and have maintained a very close relationship since then. He recently completed his MFA and this is his first short film - about facing and fighting the demons of addiction.
